Hello! My name is Jessica and I am the owner/chandler at 868 Candle Company, made right here in Corning, KS! I am so glad you are here! Here is our story. I started experimenting with candle making in April of 2017 after I could not find an off the shelf candle that did not cause me to have headaches and leave a soot mark on my white ceiling. After experimenting for about 8 months, I finally started to figure it out! My candles just started as a way to spread a little happiness to friends and family. Then, people started asking me about them, so Jessica's Clean Candles was born as a small little side hustle and has evolved into 868 Candle Company. We all help out - me, my kids and my husband.

Our hand poured (right in our own home!) all natural soy candle products are made with a very high quality 100% soy wax, produced from US grown soy beans, infused with essential oils and completed with either a lead and zinc free cotton wick or a natural crackling wood wick, sourced from FSC-certified mills. I am very picky about the ingredients that go into our products. These candles are phthalate free and non-toxic, so they will not muck up the air quality in your home like regular off the shelf candles. They are so smooth and not overpowering, but will still make their presence known in your home.

We offer our products on our website and in several retail locations, listed on our “Where to Buy” page. We also offer Candle Pours for your next holiday party, girls night, daughter's birthday party (age 12+), family get together, etc. and a limited amount of candle sales fundraising for groups. You can also find us making a few craft show appearances.
